Inner Wilderness - Original Canvas

This painting was created in a moment where my thoughts had a mind of their own, almost overwhelming in their chaos. In search of peace, I turned to this canvas. Choosing a large surface was my way of giving myself the space to express and release the thoughts I was holding onto.  As the layers in the piece went on I became more genlte with myself and made peace with my overactive mind. 

The woman in the painting embodies the fleeting moments of calm I find between the thoughts, a reminder of the patches of stillness that bring clarity and peace amidst the mental wilderness. The overactive mind, though wild and sometimes uncontainable, is part of the being human, and it's okay. This piece is a testament to that truth, embracing the chaos and the stillness, side by side.
